Appropriate Body
OTSA is an Appropriate Body for Early Career Teacher induction, based in Oxford.
We provide support and quality assurance of the ECT induction process for ECTs in partnership with the Oxfordshire Teaching School Hub. We work with schools in Oxfordshire and the wider region to ensure that their assessment is fair and consistent to ensure that ECTs have the best chance to meet the Teachers’ Standards at the end of their induction period.
We use ECT Manager, which is a separate online system, to manage the statutory ECT induction process, including progress reviews and assessments. The ECT induction handbook and associated documentation can be found in the resources section of ECT Manager.
