Register for induction

It is vital to register for both statutory induction and the Early Career Framework.

Before registering an ECT, please check that the post is suitable for induction.

There are two parts to the registration process - schools must register an ECT for statutory induction with OTSA and also on the DfE online service for the Early Career Framework. Schools must ensure that both parts of the registration process are completed. If one part is missed, the ECT will not be registered and this will delay the start of ECT induction.
