Recruitment, Retention & Representation
OTSA understands that the quality of teaching has a significant impact on the outcomes and life chances of young people.
Therefore, we provides services to partner schools to support the recruitment and retention of highly qualified and representative teachers and support staff. This includes running a job board, an applicant pool, a database of post-16 freelance teachers, a database of overseas trained teachers to provide CPD and networking opportunities, recruitment fairs and supporting other innovative projects such as the Maternity Teacher Paternity Teacher Project and the annual Racial Equity Network Dinner. We also run online and face to face events with a focus on supporting schools with recruitment, retention and representation.
