Who we are
We are a school-led partnership of over 300 schools and organisations who work together to provide high quality professional development and recruitment services for people working in schools.
We deliver our work through three entities, OTT, OTSA and OTSH.
Each entity specialises in different areas but behind the scenes there is a single central team who work with hundreds of colleagues from partner schools and organisations who form our expert delivery team.
Our directors and most of our central team have been working together for over a decade, with the collective aim of supporting our partner schools for the benefit of young people.
OTT
The OTT SCITT is our School Centred Initial Teacher Training Provider. We are accredited by the Department for Education to train teachers to teach in nursery, primary, secondary and special schools. We operate multiple training hubs across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Berkshire in order to provide trainees with a local base for their teacher training programme.
OTSA
OTSA, previously the Oxfordshire Teaching Schools Alliance, provides a huge range of professional development opportunities, is the Appropriate Body for Early Career Teacher (ECT) induction and supports schools with recruitment. We also work in partnership with a small number of companies who offer valuable services to our partners schools.
OTSH
The Oxfordshire Teaching School Hub (OTSH) delivers the Early Career Framework (ECF) programme, delivers the National Professional Qualifications, promotes the work of Curriculum Hubs and has a strategic role to support ITT delivery in our region. OTSH is one of 87 Teaching School Hubs in England who are designated by the DfE to provide these services to schools.
