OTSA is on a mission to reduce supply and recruitment costs for schools, whilst paying supply colleagues more through our partnership with Schools Mutual Services, a non-profit supply and recruitment organisation. 

SMS have opened an Oxfordshire office, in Littlemore and Leigh, Georgia and Jasmine are busy recruiting colleagues to support Oxfordshire schools with their supply and staffing needs. 

Right now there are two things that you can do to help make this project a success:

1. Print this poster and share it with anyone involved in supply in your school, including current supply teachers and supply support staff. If possible, please put the poster on your school notice board and in other locations where colleagues may see it (please check with your headteacher first - unless you are the headteacher!).

2. With a supply colleagues’ agreement, introduce them to SMS. As a thank you, SMS will pay you £100 (or £150 to your school) for every colleague you recommend who goes on to work with them. The supply colleague will receive £50.

Just to add, we have designed the registration form to allow supply colleagues to record the names of schools that they work with regularly. This means that existing relationships and arrangements can continue - it’s simply that your school will pay less and the supply colleague will earn more.
